Information for contributing authors:
Your contribution may be prepared in LaTeX or Microsoft Word. Technical Instructions for working with Springer’s style files and templates are provided in separate documents which can be found in the respective zip packages on Springer website.

Springer has developed LaTeX style files and Word templates to help you prepare your paper. LaTeX is the preferred format (especially for texts containing several formulae), but Word templates are also available.

For your convenience, Springer have summarized in the Author Guidelines document how a proceedings paper should be structured, how elements (headings, figures, references) should be formatted using their predefined styles, etc. They also give some insight on how your paper will be typeset at Springer.

Springer would like to draw your attention already now to Springer’s LaTeX macro package, which you should use in due course for the preparation of the final version of your manuscript. The easiest way for you to get hold of the macros is to click on this link. A sample file can be found here. After downloading, please follow the instructions given the files llncsdoc.pdf and typeinst.pdf. In particular, when preparing your contribution keep these points in mind:
1. The abstract is a mandatory element that should summarize the contents of the paper and should contain at least 70 and at most 150 words
2. Please number subheadings subsequently, starting with “1”, also if the first subheading is “1 Introduction”.
3. Regarding the numbering of figures, tables, equations, theorems etc. please use the same style as shown in the typeinst.pdf (included in the file typeinst.zip).
4. References: In order to unify the layout of the references of the individual contributions, Springer asks you to follow the guidelines given in Section 5 of typeinst.pdf.

Each contribution must be accompanied by a Springer copyright form, a so-called 'Consent to Publish' form. Modified forms are not acceptable.

Please, download the form by clicking here, fill and sign it and send a scan of the form by e-mail to ifip15-contact@inria.fr
